London -3 August 2004. GE Commercial Finance ("GE") and Avis Europe plc ("Avis") today announced that GE has recently served notice to terminate its 12-year-old sub-license agreement with Avis, under which GE's corporate fleet leasing and management division has principally gone to market in Europe as Avis Fleet Services.
